Savvas acquired his degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from NTUA and soon started his career as a hands-on software engineer. Savvas has worked in startup companies since 2009, starting from the incubator of Facebook Fund in Palo Alto. He was the CTO of the Daily Secret team, while earlier he was the CTO in Liberis Publications.

Since 2015, Savvas is running the product teams at Welcome Pickups, working on traveler experience, mobile apps for drivers and tools for hotels, agents & travel partners that integrate the Welcome Pickups service globally.
