Thanos Papangelis, the Co-Founder of Epignosis Learning Technologies, has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leading vendor in learning technology, specializing in eFront, TalentLMS, and TalentCards. Since Epignosis’s inception in 2007, Thanos has played a pivotal role in its growth and success. In addition to his leadership at Epignosis, Thanos is an active angel investor, contributing to the growth of various companies including Blueground, Lifebit, FlexCar, ORamaVR, Morphoses, Moveo.AI, Lateralus Ventures, and Wealthyhood. Prior to venturing into entrepreneurship, Thanos honed his skills as a computer scientist at ΚΕΠΥΕΣ in 2006.

Thanos Papangelis’s academic journey is equally impressive. He attended the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras from 1994 to 1999, earning a Diploma in Computer Engineering. Subsequently, he pursued advanced studies at the University of Patras from 2000 to 2002, focusing on Computer Engineering and Informatics, culminating in an MSC degree in Software Quality. Thanos’s academic pursuit continued as he embarked on a PHD degree in Computer Science from 2002 to 2009, solidifying his expertise in the field.
